Mechanism of Action (MOA)

Blocks L-type Ca²⁺ channels in vascular smooth muscle → arterial vasodilation → ↓ afterload.

Clinical Notes

First-line HTN and vasospastic angina. Dose-dependent peripheral edema; minimal cardiac depression vs non-DHP.
