- Inhibits fungal CYP450 (14-α-demethylase) → blocks ergosterol synthesis.
- Clinical Notes
- Candida (thrush, vaginitis, candidemia) and cryptococcal meningitis. QT prolongation; CYP inhibitor (↑ warfarin); hepatotoxicity.
