Drug Class: Acetylcholinesterase Inhibitor
Mechanism of Action (MOA): Inhibits central acetylcholinesterase → ↑ synaptic acetylcholine.
Clinical Notes: Symptomatic Alzheimer dementia (modest, not disease-modifying). Cholinergic effects: bradycardia/syncope, GI upset, vivid dreams.
