- Serotonin 5-HT1B/1D agonist → cranial vasoconstriction and ↓ release of vasoactive peptides.
- Clinical Notes
- Acute migraine abortive. Contraindicated in CAD/uncontrolled HTN (coronary vasospasm); serotonin syndrome risk; do not combine with ergots.
