Drug Class: Anti-Tuberculous Agent
Mechanism of Action (MOA): Inhibits arabinosyl transferase → impairs mycobacterial cell-wall (arabinogalactan) synthesis.
Clinical Notes: The 'E' of RIPE TB therapy. Dose-dependent optic neuritis → ↓ visual acuity and red-green color blindness (usually reversible) — check baseline and monitor vision.
