Blocks the CysLT1 leukotriene receptor → ↓ bronchoconstriction and inflammation.
Black Box Warning
Serious neuropsychiatric events (agitation, depression, suicidal thinking and behavior).
Clinical Notes
Add-on for asthma, allergic rhinitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm. Oral, once daily.
