- Irreversibly inhibits the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase (proton pump) → ↓ acid secretion.
- Clinical Notes
- GERD, PUD, H. pylori regimens. Long-term: ↓ Mg²⁺/B12/Ca²⁺, C. diff, fractures; inhibits clopidogrel activation. Take before meals.
