Drug Class: Phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) Inhibitor
Mechanism of Action (MOA): Inhibits PDE-5 → ↑ cGMP → smooth-muscle relaxation/vasodilation in the corpus cavernosum and pulmonary vasculature.
Clinical Notes: Erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Contraindicated with nitrates (profound hypotension); NAION (sudden vision loss); priapism.
