Mechanism of Action (MOA)
Inhibits PDE-5 → ↑ cGMP → smooth-muscle relaxation/vasodilation in the corpus cavernosum and pulmonary vasculature.
Clinical Notes
Erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Contraindicated with nitrates (profound hypotension); NAION (sudden vision loss); priapism.
