Signs & Symptoms: Spreading erythema, warmth, swelling, tenderness; ± fever; poorly demarcated borders.
Gold Standard Diagnosis: Clinical diagnosis; blood/wound cultures if systemic or severe.
First-line Treatment: Non-purulent: cephalexin (strep coverage); purulent/MRSA risk: TMP-SMX or doxycycline.
