Drug Class: NSAID
Mechanism of Action (MOA): Reversibly inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 → ↓ prostaglandin synthesis.
Black Box Warning: Increased risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events and of GI bleeding/perforation.
Clinical Notes: Pain, fever, inflammation. GI ulcers, renal impairment (afferent vasoconstriction), fluid retention; avoid in CKD/HF and 3rd-trimester pregnancy.
