Drug Class: Antiepileptic
Mechanism of Action (MOA): Binds synaptic vesicle protein SV2A → modulates neurotransmitter release.
Clinical Notes: Broad-spectrum workhorse — few drug interactions, no level monitoring. Main issue is behavioral/mood change (irritability).
