- Recombinant tissue plasminogen activator → converts plasminogen to plasmin → fibrin clot lysis.
- Clinical Notes
- Labeled for acute ischemic stroke (within 3 h of onset), acute massive PE, and acute MI. Contraindicated with active internal bleeding or recent stroke.
