Black Box Warning
Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea/colitis (ranges from mild diarrhea to fatal colitis) — reserve for serious infections where less toxic agents are inappropriate.
Clinical Notes
Anaerobes above the diaphragm, MRSA/strep skin infection, toxin suppression in nec fasc/TSS. Classic cause of C. difficile colitis.
