- Black Box Warning
- Carcinogenicity: shown to be carcinogenic in animal models (mice/rats); avoid unnecessary use — reserve for approved indications.
- Clinical Notes
- Labeled for anaerobes, trichomoniasis, amebiasis; BV via vaginal gel/ER tablet. Disulfiram-like reaction with alcohol.
